Hi Lisa

Yes, women can get jock itch of the external genitalia. Tea tree oil is very effective against skin molds and yeast infections but extra care is warranted around the vagina and anus. These sensitive areas will easily become inflamed due to the action of tea tree oil. One solution is to use a tea tree cream (10% impregnation) on the area bout 5 to 10 minutes before bathing. Then rinse the area of thoroughly when bathing before you start soaping yourself up. After bathing, dry the area thoroughly (use a hair dryer if necessary) and apply a Calendula-Symphytum (marigold and comfrey) tincture combination. If you are not scratching the area, then it won't burn. Due to the alcohol concentration within this tincture combination, it will evaporate almost immediately and you can rest assured that it won't soil your clothing. This tincture combination will prevent any further fungal growth.

I have the fungus problem in between my breast, due from working out,but I also have another question can a woman get jocks itch on the outside on the external genitalia? If so can tea tree oil also be applied with care since it does have a menthol properties?
